Description: Kramer Gehlen & Associates, Inc. (KGA), Vancouver, Washington, is seeking an entry level structural designer to join our team. Responsibilities will include performing engineering calculations and performing construction administration duties.

Skills:  An educational background in steel, concrete and wood design as a minimum.  Preference given to those that have completed courses in pre-stress concrete, masonry and cold form steel design.  Classes in earthquake engineering ideal.

Requirements:  Degree in Civil Engineering where elective courses were in structural design, as indicated above.  Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.

Compensation:  Annual starting base salary range is $56,000 - $67,000. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on several factors including consideration for a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base salary is one component of our total compensation package for employees.

Description: Kramer Gehlen & Associates, Inc. Vancouver, Washington, seeks a skilled, Structural Project Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities include engineering analysis, project management, coordination of structural drawings, and development of lateral systems for low rise construction. Additional duties include technical writing and reporting, client relationship building, mentoring junior staff, performing engineering calculations, and preparing construction documents.

Skills: We are looking for a team member who professional, collaborative, knowledgeable and organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Other beneficial qualities include detail orientation, resourcefulness and initiative.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural engineering. Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.

Compensation:  Annual starting base salary range is $65,000 - $85,000. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on several factors including consideration for a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base salary is one component of our total compensation package for employees.
