Project Description

The design team, school district, and community health partners collaborated to design this new 69,000 sf, steel framed magnet high school. The school is adjacent to the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and intends to give students hands-on experience to prepare for careers in health care and the biosciences. It includes fully operational nursing stations and expansive lab space, including lab benches with utilities, vacuum hoods, and piping for waste chemicals. Exposed concrete flooring and the use of glass give the school a modern, industrial feel.
